China Education Resources Inc. Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

| | VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)---Oct 15, 2007 -- China Education Resources Inc. (CER, the Company) (CDNX:CHN.V - News)(Other OTC:CHNUF.PK - News), a leading provider of K-12 education resources and services through its national internet portal, CERSP.com, announced today that Danny Chi Tak Hon has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hon joins CER from his current position as Partner of Hon & Wong, Certified General Accountants.
Mr. Hon is a Certified General Accountant with over 20 years experience in accounting and finance experience. He became an Associate member of The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada in 1994 and a Certified Financial Planner in 1998. Mr. Hon became a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom in 1992 and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1999. Mr. Hon received his Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University in 2000.

Mr. Hon is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and has extensive experience working with Canadian and U.S. listed public companies, which have businesses in China. Mr. Hon was Chief Financial Officer of Jinshan Gold Mines Inc. (JIN.T) from March 2003 to October 2003 and Chief Financial Officer of Silvercorp Metals (SVM.T) from October 2004 to August 2006.
