China Education Resources Announces the Launch of its Combined Internet and Offline Tutoring Programs in China

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(December 5, 2008) - China Education Resources Inc. ("China Education", "CER", "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:CHN) (OTCQX:CHNUF) - announced today that it has launched its exclusive online and offline Education Service Portal (ESP) tutoring services. The Company has registered 164 teachers to serve as online-offline tutors for the People's Republic of China K-12 education market. CER offers real-time online tutoring and an adaptive online-offline compact disk (CD) program.
"This program is a keystone to our business strategy" said CER Chairman and CEO, Chengfeng Zhou, "The tutors and students interact using ESP, which is the centerpiece of our online education service business. Not only do tutors and students interact through our portal, they will propagate its use with other teachers, students and parents." Because of its advanced features and complete compliance with government programs, the Company expects that educators, students and parents will gravitate to the ESP system to work, study, interact and develop social networks.
Although CER has launched the program with 164 teachers as ESP online tutors, there has been no promotional advertizing. The Company will monitor the programs' initial 200 tutoring courses, make any necessary adjustments and maximize the inherent online social networks to promote the service. Even as the launch takes place, more content material is being developed by the teacher-tutors and other education professionals.
In addition to the online program, CER has selected certain tutoring courses to be published on compact disk (CD) and plans to test the program this month. The purpose of this CD program is to access those education markets that do not have robust access to the internet. CER's tutoring program via CD will help students with their education needs and prepare them for internet-based learning once they have access to it.
The CD program is able to run independently (without internet access) or in combination with the ESP online portal service. The CD program utilizes the ESP assessment system, memory game, and if the there is internet access, real time, fee based, online tutoring services.
The commercialization for online tutoring services is based on revenue sharing, with teacher-tutors receiving 70% of revenues and CER receiving 30%. The teacher-tutors auction their online real-time tutoring and the ESP tutor-group or self-administered courses on CER's online tutoring platform similar to the "education e-Bay" model. Each CD program has a core learning focus and objectives, and includes tutoring material for 3 to 5 subjects. The suggested retail price is $43 per CD program.
