China Education Resources Issues Update and Announces New Teacher Training Program

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(June 24, 2009) - China Education Resources Inc. ("China Education", "CER", "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:CHN) (OTCQX:CHNUF) - today provided an update and announced that it had been selected to conduct 2 online teacher training programs which is expected to generate over 4 million RMB in revenues (approximately $700,000 CDN). The first one is the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE) July program involving teachers from Hubei, Yunnan, Inner-Mongolia and Hebei Provinces. The second program is the GANSU provincial program later this summer.

Chengfeng Zhou, Chairman and CEO, said "CER has developed the most leading edge teacher training platform in China with over 1 million K to 12 teachers registered. We currently have the largest K-12 teacher blog system. We are one of the few companies which has been selected by the MOE to conduct teacher training on a national basis. This endorsement by the MOE has given us a great deal of credibility and thus the opportunity to more easily introduce not only our teacher training products but also our student products.

The link between teacher training and our student products, in particular, our tutoring program, is critical. Our teacher training program is a highly effective way to reach the student population which is a much larger market than the teacher market. The more teachers we train, the more familiar they become with both our teacher products and our student products and the more we will sell of each. Also, as more teachers become familiar with us, we increase the number of people who will help us develop courses and in time, I am confident that we will have the most comprehensive inventory of teacher developed online tutoring courses in China."

Update

As announced on December 5, 2008, CER launched and started market testing its exclusive online and offline Education Service Portal (ESP) tutoring services aimed at the K-12 student population. CER offers real-time online tutoring and an adaptive online-offline compact disk (CD) program to be used by students who lack ready access to the internet.

Mr. Zhou said, "the initial market tests are very encouraging. Our products have attracted the attention of several multi-national corporations in the consumer products area. We are in discussions with these companies to develop innovative and cost effective ways to market our online tutoring products. Their involvement will significantly increase the speed and reduce the cost for us to reach our targeted audience. Our shareholders will be updated as soon as we can finalize an arrangement with these companies. "
