China Education Resources Finalizes Agreements To Provide Online Training Programs For Teachers in China's Largest City & Three Leading Provinces

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- (October 7, 2010) - China Education Resources, Inc. (TSXV:CHN, Pink Sheets:CHNUF), a leading technology provider of online learning, training courses and tools for teachers, students and education professionals in China, announced today that it finalized agreements to provide online teacher training programs for education professionals in the city of Chongqing and the provinces of Heilongjiang, Sichuan and Yunnan. With the new training programs commencing mid-October 2010, China Education Resources will now be providing valuable resources to teachers, students and education professionals in seven provinces in China.
"We are finding that more and more teachers are becoming familiar with our products and services as we continue to roll-out our four-step program in each province in China. Presently, we offer 25 online training courses and over 50,000 kindergarten through 12th grade lesson plans relating to science, math, history, geography, physics, biology and many other subjects. China Education Resources is the only public company involved in China's rapidly growing primary and secondary education sector that has been officially endorsed by China's Ministry of Education," said China Education Resources CEO Chengfeng Zhou.
The city of Chongqing is China's largest city and one of China's five national central cities with a population of 31.4 million people. The Sichuan Province is the fourth most populous province in China with a population of 81.6 million people followed by the Yunnan Providence with a population of 43 million people and the Heilongjiang Province with a population of 37 million people.
"Our four-step growth plan is now being implemented in seven provinces and Chongqing City. Our work in the Gansu Province served as a model for this nationwide growth plan. The first step involves work with various levels of government to deliver the online teacher training programs. The second step integrates our products and services into the teachers' daily routine. This will allow teachers to interact and communicate with each other," explained Zhou. "The third step is to promote the educational platform section to teachers and the fourth step engages the student with our educational portal which includes our collection of online tutoring courses, assessment tools and educational games. Our corporate revenues are generated from the online subscription fees involved in each step of our growth plan."
